"Please don't start THAT exasperating thing again," said Miranda. "Wait, there's that noise again. It's coming from over there!" Miranda pointed to a dark alley where Alex's bookstore was. They've been looking at it all day, since they barely could move. "Then let's go!" Alistair moved toward the bookshop but Lillian and Miranda got a hold on him. "Hold it!" Miranda exclaimed, grasping Alistair's shirts. "The man could be back there! let me go first!" Before anyone could say "Lemony Snickets!" She went to the place. "ARRRRGH!" Miranda was struck down by the mysterious man. "Guesssssss who's here!!! Manarge Children!!" said the man, snickering as he referred to the children's last name. "You evil man!" Apu rushed to his sister and fought the man. A voice said, "Sir, you are under arrest!" The police handcuffed the man and the children were brought to the police station to find their parents.
