If one looks back on the great speeches of the century, perhaps the greatest was Winston Churchill’s “We will fight them” speech. With mere words, Churchill managed to inspire an entire nation, giving them the moral courage to persevere against what must have seemed insurmountable odds. Consider, then, how different the course of history might have been, had Churchill not in fact delivered his message via radio, but instead had made a flyer, on his computer, and then had printed it using a cheap bubble-jet printer, hand-feeding each page. That might have taken a very long time.
