Hannah Tinti will read a story involving an animal, perhaps a monkey Todd Pruzan will read a selection from a piece of writing which is either too long or too short. David Guion & Mike Handelman will publicly announce their first collaboration since the completion of "Mondo Beyondo," a screenplay dealing with robots in America. Ben Greenman will do one of two things: read work from his forthcoming collection SUPERBAD, or read from a novel that J Hodgman refused to represent. And a presentation of new entries will be made by the Editorial Committee of "M," the 13th Volume of an Encyclopedia Interesting points: At least one speaker will use an overhead projector Some information will be given regarding E Haldeman-Julius of Girard, Kansas. Mr. Haldeman-Julius was the editor of the Little Blue Books, a series of cheap, instructive paperbacks which were so very popular in the early to middle 20th century. There were 1,915 Little Blue Books, ranging on such subjects as How to Make All Kinds of Candy (No. 518), What You Should Know About Poisons (No. 1508), and What Is the End of Life?: Bunk About the Aimlessness of Modern Life (No. 1803) There will likely not be 1,915 Little Gray Book Lectures.
