(Game scheduled to hit store shelves today.) - - - - Hollywood, California, March 29, 2000 - Interplay Entertainment Corp. (NASDAQ:IPLY), today confirmed that Sunday, March 26th will long be remembered in the gaming industry as the night that Messiah(tm) went to the Academy Awards. With the help of television star and game reviewer Gary Coleman, along with the Messiah.com limousine, the highly anticipated computer game rubbed shoulders with Hollywood's biggest stars. Adding to all the excitement is the fact that Messiah is scheduled to begin showing up on store shelves today. Hot on the heels of its Academy Awards presence, Messiah is sure to be a hit at retail. After Sunday's Oscar ceremony, the exciting evening continued with the Messiah.com limousine taking world famous game designer David Perry of Shiny Entertainment and Coleman to one of Hollywood's biggest and most elaborate parties. The Hollywood Stock Exchange party at the House of Blues gave Coleman the opportunity to tell the press about Messiah and its cutting edge technology. "Messiah takes graphics and sound effects to a new clean and clear level never before realized on the PC," Coleman gushed. Messiah even proved to be a traffic stopper, as Los Angeles' finest pulled over the Messiah.com limo and were promptly greeted by four beautiful models dressed as angels offering Messiah T-shirts. With countless photographs taken all evening long, the Messiah.com limo proved to truly be the talk of the town. The night culminated with Coleman getting a first look preview from Perry of this highly anticipated 3D shooter. Coleman was truly blown away by the extraordinary game play of Messiah and the full review can be seen starting this week on the web. More information about Messiah and its Academy Awards appearance,
