There's No Such Thing As A Free Lunch... Unless Your Name Is Johnny And You Were Born In The 1940s - - - - DETROIT, August 8, 2001 -- Imagine Detroit in the 1940s. Men in fedora hats walking down the street, women sporting kid gloves, streetcars bustling, and soda fountains and diners were crowded with people eating savory hamburgers, spicy chili, and rich, creamy milkshakes and malts. Olympia Entertainment wants to bring a little 1940s nostalgia back to the city of Detroit with the opening of Johnny Rockets. We would like to invite the first 40 Johnny's born circa-1940, who respond to our Johnny RSVP line at (313) 471-3383, to be Johnny Rockets' first diners. The first 40 Johnnies who RSVP will be notified by Friday, August 10, 2001, at 5 p.m. with further information. The Johnny RSVP line will open on Wednesday, August 8, 2001. Participants must have photo identification to prove name and birthday. SOURCE Olympia Entertainment
