The McSweeney's Representative will be visiting a bookstore near you in the near future. This will be fun.

In many locations, he will be accompanied by various McSweeney's contributors. Or he might come alone.

He will be traveling in support of a book he has written, and he may read from it. But bear in mind that no one need read said book, much less like it, in order to come on down to the show. As a matter of fact, he would prefer no one talk to him about the book. Talking about McSweeney's is encouraged, as is discussion of those amazing Rams. Are they not amazing? They seem unstoppable.

There also exists the hope that at many of these readings, there will be on hand special advance copies of McSweeney's Issue No. 4, which will otherwise be in stores in mid-February. Check this link for information about that possibility, and also for news of special guests and related events in certain cities, as it becomes available and is confirmed.

So. Please come and say hello. If you have written for us before and have not met us, or if your name is familiar to the letters page, or if you have sent us baked goods or army medical manuals, please come out and say hello. Here are the dates and locations:
