Michael M. Chemers is Professor of Dramatic Literature and Director of Graduate Studies for the Department of Theater Arts at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He is the author of The Monster in Theater History: This Thing of Darkness (Routledge 2018). In his spare time, he tries to build graduate programs.
