Scott Faingold is a journalist, radio personality, novelist and musician. He was raised in Springfield, Illinois and spent years doing media-based work in Chicago as well as in Houston, Texas before returning to central Illinois where he is now an instructor in the School of Communication and Media at University of Illinois Springfield, while editing local arts zine Activator and performing in such in-demand musical acts as Prom King, Splendid Flunkys, Heptanes and Petulant Clark.
