Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness, but, seriously, you should always have a flashlight ready in case a blackout strikes like this with no warning. You don’t have a blackout prep kit? What about one for a hurricane? Wow, seriously, nothing? No, I’m not judging you, it’s just that if I were you, I’d have something ready to go. But, then again, you’ve always kind of played it fast and loose when it comes to your “career,” and relationships, and where you’re living, so it’s not surprising. No, I think it’s really cool that you can be so carefree about everything—I’m sure I’d be a complete wreck if I had no security or health insurance or sense of where I was heading in life. I admire you for that. Here, you can use the extra flashlight I always carry in my backpack.
