Defne knows that it sounds complicated, but it’s actually better than having a bill sent to just one residence, because if you lose one bill, you can always fly to the other apartment and find the duplicate. Defne doesn’t do stuff online, so that’s not a point to make anyway. She likes holding paper in her hands, even medical bills that insurance isn’t covering, because Defne doesn’t need insurance. Speaking of which, Defne also has two primary care physicians—one in New York and one in Los Angeles—and they love working as a team to support Defne’s health. Defne knows this because she could sense their co-primary-care-physician life force coming strong from the fax machine she used to arrange this collaboration. How it works is, if the New York doctor is doing Defne’s annual physical, the Los Angeles doctor flies to New York for fifteen minutes to make sure they agree with everything. These physicians have been particularly helpful with UTIs that Defne has been getting lately in New York and Los Angeles.
