Dan Pasternack is a producer and programmer as well as a scribbler and superfan who loves alliterative couplets almost as much as he loves comedy. He has overseen the development and production of literally hundreds of hours of television and digital content. Dan served as the lead development executive for the IFC cable channel, where he helped shepherd the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning series Portlandia for the network. He has recently produced projects for Adult Swim and Amazon and is currently producing and hosting the award-nominated Obsessive Comedy Disorder audio documentaries for Sirius XM. He is also a professor teaching courses to third-year graduate students at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Dan has been collecting autographed comedy records for most of his life. This is his collection and these are his stories. For more, check out obsessivecomedydisorder.net.
